What is actually LGBT means for ????

LGBT  are......

LGBT actually is an initialism which L refer to lesbian, G refer to gay, B refer to bisexual and lastly T refer to transgender. LGBT also know as GLBT. Currently, LGBT was become a hot issue in Malaysia and the world. Malaysia is one of country that not accept and legalize LGBT.  In 1956, homosexuality was decriminalised in Thailand and now Thailand was accepting this LGBT culture. Plus, Thailand and Vietnam become the first Southeast Asian countries that legalize this same-sex marriages or LGBT.

Mostly the reason why LGBT was not accepted by community because it was contradictory to human nature where man was created for male and female and female to male rather than vice versa. That why Prophet Adam a.s. was created with Hawa or also called as Eve by Creator, ALLAH s.w.t.. By this we can conclude that woman was created for man we as human are created for each other. Many religions are not approve this LGBT especially in Islam, Christian and more.

In UDHR, article 16 stated that men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses. This show that a men and woman that have a good condition in health, wealth and more are eligible to marry with full consent of both intending spouses. Even in UDHR which one of declaration of humans rights that most of country follow stated that marriage can happen between men and woman not men and men and also woman and woman.

Its true that The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights (UDHR) stated in article 18 that everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion which includes freedom to change his/her religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. This is mean that those LGBT people also have their own rights to practice their lifestyle in community but this can cause a bad effect to community as well such as this kind of lifestyle give a bad example to children especially to teenagers. Diseases such as HIV/AIDS can be transmitted rapidly in the community.

I am choosing this article entitled "What it's like to be LGBT living with HIV in Malaysia" from Malaysian Digest Magazine as my materials research. This article stated that Transgender and Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM) are mostly prone to get HIV/AIDS disease. According to the data given in this article on 2013 there are 85,332 peoples living with HIV?AIDS disease with estimated that 9 cases per day in Malaysia. This is very critical !!!! As we know that HIV/AIDS are one of the most lethal disease that can be transmitted through a liquids such as semen, blood, rectal fluids, breast milk and vaginal fluids. HIV/AIDS also can be spread by sharing injection needle and sexual intercourse between homosexual and heterosexual partners. But recently there are increasing in number of HIV/AIDS patients.

In this article, I would like to stressed this words :

" When Malaysian society at large pretends that they do not exist, how do we address the increase in HIV transmission through sexual intercourse, putting all Malaysians at risk, including heterosexuals, homosexuals and minors? " 

Because Malaysia society and government acknowledges the existence of the LGBT community causing them a rough time to seeking medical attention. This LGBT community basic needs in medication are bit different from normal people which their need HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and HAART (highly active antiretroviral therapy that helps prevent the virus from causing further damage) for their HIV treatment. But in UDHR in article 25 stated that everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. But the LGBT community in Malaysia didn't get what their should get in medical requirement. This is because their existence are not well known by community. Its not that I agree with this LGBT issues but people should get what they deserve whether they are normal people or transgender, everyone deserve the equality. Whether they are LGBT community or not its not our problem because that was a path that they choose and our job only prevent the LGBT by giving a talk or awareness about this issues. 

Human Rights

Assalamualaikum and a very good evening to all,

Actually this is my first time on making and writing on a blog.This is the reason why I named my first blog as "For The First Time".So,please treat me well, hihi =).

As I am taking a "Hak Asasi Manusia" class at my university so I had given a task to make a blog and comment about an article and a song that related to the human's right.From my previous lecture, I was taught about the definition of human's right in different perspective such as the definition from a view of sociologist,Rhoda E. Howard stated that human right are a right that one holds merely by virtue of human being which mean that all human beings hold all human right equally except for those limited conditions such as criminal conviction.The definition from a point of view from a former president of the American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy and also known as a father of human right law,Louis Henkin stated that the idea of human right is a political idea with a moral foundation that defines the relationship that should exist between  the individual and society.

While the definition from Thomas Buergenthal, a specialist in international law and human rights law said that human rights by reference to law which governs human rights.This is some of what the professional thinks about humans right.So what are your opinion about the actual definition of the humans right ? The study about humans right was very wider and the meaning itself may leads to different people point of view. 

Well from my understanding, every living things in this earth have their own right even animals,plants and especially humans.This is because there are too many right in an individual itself that always being resurrected such as a right as parents, husband, wife, students, employees, president, rape victims and even the cleaners also have their own rights. Furthermore, a right is not that someone gives it to you,its what no one cannot take it from you because all human beings are born free and was entitled to equal rights. Nowadays, a tons of newly demanded rights that appeared such as LGBT issues, religious rights, Purdah-wearing rights for Islamic woman, naked rights for woman and more.In my opinion, sometimes this claimed rights are not make sense such as LGBT issues and naked right for woman. Its true that each individual have their own rights but those rights are opposite to humans nature.Lastly, humans right for all, no exceptions !!!!!

Every human has their own right especially on making decision about their future.

First of all, I want to tell the history of this brilliant song. This song have many version according to their perspective meaning. 

On 1971,this song was released by American recording artist, Marvin Gaye at the Motown subsidiary in Tamla which originally inspired by a police brutality and violence incident in the city's 

Peoples Park during a protest held by anti-war activists which witnessed by Renaldo Benson which who responsible in composing this song. This song was oriented in sounds by jazz, classical music orchestration and gospel but this song mainly as a meditation on the troubles and problems that facing by world right now and maybe in future.

Then, in 1986, "What Going On ?" song was covered by Cyndi Lauper on her second album, True Colors. In March 1987, it was released as the third single from the album. On the album version, the song starts off with a series of gunshots in reference to the Vietnam War.

This song was remake by Rock Aid Armenia which one of way to collect donation and gain money to help the victims who are affected by the Armenian earthquake on 1988. This collection considered as a humanitarian effort that make by British music industry as their sympathy and humanity to the earthquake victims.

Lastly, this song was tribute by a group of popular and well known artists that released in an album that containing many version of "What Going On ?" song from the original song, cover by Cyndi Lauper and for the humanity project.But this version as released under the name "Artists Against AIDS Worldwide" album that contribute to the AIDS programs in Africa and other poverty regions.This tribute song was recorded shortly before the September 11, 2011 tragedy then this song was decided to be as a fund to American Red Cross for the September 11 attacks.

This music video was performed by Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Destiny's Child, Backstreet Boys and even the original singer daughter Nona Gaye and many other popular singers included.

This was a very good song in describing on human rights. If you saw on the music video showing that all those singers are wearing a blindfold cloth which each of the cloth was written a word on it such voter, catholic, believer, Irish, black, consumer, Asian and more. All this words represent each of the rights that every human in this world has their own right to get it.

World are not longer safe and secure for human to live because so many wars are happening around the world nowadays. So many people are dying, crying and suffering affects of this heartless and unacceptable war. War always happen when there was a conflict or problems or have a different opinion between both sides while everyone knows that war was not the answer in solving a problems. We must unite with each other by hear and accept the new ideas. This is to make sure that all the problems faced was settled down and not involving innocent peoples. Most of the survived adults and children lost their parents, family, shelters, education, foods, clean water and their rights as citizen of a country. War not only cost one life but also reducing world economy, productivity and money supply because all those money are required for redevelop a region affected and the survivor have to develop their own strength to stay alive.

This song also showing us that every human reserve their own rights as a living human. Every one deserve their own right same as other people regardless race, religions and skin color. This music video are related to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) that I have learned recently. According the UDHR on article 1 stated that all human being are born free and equal in dignity and rights which this is mean that every human are born with their own rights and theirs have their own right to claim that. Furthermore,on UDHR also stated that everyone who live is entitled to all rights and freedom without distinction in race, sex, skin color, language, religion, political, origin, country, territory and more. This music video mostly showing many right that usually be claimed by peoples.

In conclusion, war is not a solution in solving a problem but it another way to adding more problem.
